Marriage

Preparation of a couple for the sacrament of Marriage begins when the couple contacts the parish office.  This should take place at least six months prior to the desired time of their wedding date.  At least one member of the wedding couple should be a member of the parish – and a practicing Catholic.  Preparation includes meeting with the Deacon or Priest to review all the required documentation.  This will then also include planning for the parish wedding, attending a weekend Natural Family Planning class (NFP), and a weekend Catholic Engaged Encounter class. La preparación de una pareja para el sacramento del matrimonio comienza cuando la pareja contacta a la oficina parroquial. Esto debe llevarse a cabo al menos seis meses antes de la fecha de su boda. El novio o la novia deben ser miembro registrado de la parroquia y ser católico practicante. La preparación incluye reunirse con el diácono o sacerdote para revisar toda la documentación requerida.  Esto también incluirá asistir a clases prematrimoniales; Planificación Familiar Natural (PFN) y un encuentro católico comprometido de fin de semana.
